Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging on short urban journeys if not regularly driven at motorway speeds
• EGR valve carbon accumulation leading to rough idle or check engine light on early 2017–2021 models (less common on 2023 models)
• Turbocharger lag and occasional boost pressure irregularities in 1.6 TDI units
• DSG 7-speed gearbox judder on low-speed manoeuvres or during stop-start traffic
• AdBlue dosing system occasional sensor faults triggering warning lights
• Electric window regulator failures on front doors, particularly in high-mileage examples
