Known issues

• Carbon buildup on direct-injection petrol engines (1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI) causing rough idle, hesitation, and raised emissions at higher mileage (80k+)
• Electrical faults: door locks, window regulators, and dashboard warning light false positives are common
• DSG dual-clutch gearbox (if fitted) can exhibit judder on low-speed manoeuvres and occasional jerky shifts when cold
• Water ingress into headlight assemblies leading to condensation and electrical shorts
• Timing chain rattle on cold starts (1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI engines), especially after 100k miles
• Plastic coolant pipes prone to cracking, causing slow coolant leaks
