• DPF (diesel particulate filter) regeneration problems and occasional forced limp-mode if driving patterns are too short-distance
• Fuel injector carbon deposits and occasional injector failure on early examples, particularly if poor-quality diesel used
• DSG 7-speed gearbox judder or hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres or parking
• EGR valve issues causing rough idle or increased emissions on some units
• Electrical gremlins with infotainment system freezing or rebooting, particularly with early software
• Rear seat heating element failures reported on 2021 models
