• Hybrid battery degradation rare but possible after 150,000+ miles; capacity loss typically 5-10% by 200,000 km
• 12V auxiliary battery drain issues in some units, particularly if left idle for extended periods
• Inverter coolant leaks occasionally reported, though not common
• Water ingress into headlight assemblies causing condensation and electrical gremlins
• CVT transmission shudder or hesitation during acceleration in low-speed manoeuvres (rare for 2017 model)
• EGR valve carbon buildup can affect cold-start performance in higher-mileage examples
