Known issues

• 1.6 petrol engine carbon buildup on direct injection valves, leading to rough idle and hesitation around 40,000–80,000 km
• Timing chain rattle on cold start, particularly in winter months; premature chain tensioner wear reported
• Transmission shudder and delayed engagement on some CVT or manual variants; gearbox software glitches in early production batches
• Electrical gremlins: instrument cluster display failures, infotainment touchscreen freezing or unresponsive after software updates
• Rust perforation and corrosion on undercarriage and suspension components earlier than class average, especially in coastal areas
• Air conditioning compressor failure; refrigerant leaks and poor cooling performance in year 2–3 of ownership
