Known issues

• 1.0 TSI engine carbon build-up on direct injection valves, particularly under mixed city/short-trip driving, causing rough idle and reduced fuel economy
• Water ingress into door seals and window regulators on early production units, leading to interior dampness and electrical issues
• DSG 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox shudder during low-speed manoeuvres (parking, reversing) — software updates help but don't always resolve completely
• 12V battery drain when parked, exacerbated by infotainment system wake-up cycles
• Turbocharger wastegate rattle under load in some 1.0 TSI units, especially below 2000 rpm
• Occasional infotainment system freezes and Bluetooth connectivity drops after software updates
