• EGR valve carbon accumulation leading to rough idle and increased emissions readings at NCT
• Turbocharger lag and occasional boost pressure sensor faults causing warning lights and limp-mode
• Electrical gremlins: infotainment system freezes, door lock solenoid failures, and steering column module faults
• Timing chain tensioner wear on higher-mileage examples; audible rattle on cold start
• Rear brake caliper seizing and uneven pad wear due to poor drainage design
