Known issues

• Battery capacity loss and reduced electric-only range after 3-5 years; Mercedes uses proprietary battery management with limited third-party diagnostics
• Hybrid coupling/transition judder when petrol engine cuts in/out, particularly noticeable in stop-start traffic
• High-voltage coolant hose splits and connector corrosion in the hybrid cooling circuit, causing system faults and limp mode
• DSG 9-speed automatic gearbox shudder during low-speed acceleration when switching between electric and combustion power
• Charging port water ingress and contact corrosion, reducing charging reliability in Irish wet climate
• 12V auxiliary battery drain issues when car sits unplugged for extended periods; hybrid-equipped models draw more parasitic load
