Known issues

• Premature wear of front brake pads and rotors due to light vehicle weight and aggressive regenerative-feel braking characteristics
• Minor water ingress into door seals and window channels, particularly on older examples or those exposed to coastal salt spray
• Occasional rattling from the door mirrors on poor road surfaces
• Fuel pump relay failure causing intermittent starting issues (rare but documented)
• Dashboard rattle and interior trim clip loosening after 80,000+ km

Good for

• Fuel economy: consistently achieves 45–50 mpg in real-world mixed driving
• Tight turning circle and nimble handling—excellent for tight urban streets and car parks
• Low maintenance costs and cheap consumables; engine parts are inexpensive
• Reliability: simple, naturally-aspirated engine with no turbo or direct injection carbon issues
