Known issues

• Diesel particulate filter (DPF) clogging and regeneration issues, particularly on low-mileage or urban-driven examples; premature blockage leading to limp-home mode and expensive cleaning or replacement (€800–€1,500)
• Electrical gremlins including infotainment system crashes, touchscreen freezing, and Bluetooth connectivity drop-outs; software updates often temporary fixes
• Transmission shudder or jerking on low-speed manoeuvres in urban driving, especially with the 9-speed automatic; Jaguar Land Rover gearbox software updates may be required
• Injector carbon buildup on the 2.0L diesel engine, causing rough idle and reduced fuel economy after 60,000+ miles if using poor-quality fuel or frequent short trips
• Water ingress and seal degradation around door frames and window seals, leading to interior damp and electrical faults
• Turbocharger boost pressure fluctuations and occasional wastegate rattle; full turbo replacement costs €1,200–€1,800
