Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging on vehicles with frequent short journeys; premature regeneration cycles and sensor faults
• Injector stiction and carbon buildup in EcoBlue engines, particularly if servicing intervals are extended beyond Ford's recommendations
• Rear leaf spring corrosion and sagging, especially in salt-heavy Irish coastal environments
• Gearbox (10-speed automatic) occasional harsh downshifts or delayed engagement in cold conditions
• Electrical gremlins with the infotainment system and rear camera display, sometimes requiring software updates
• EGR cooler scaling in hard-water areas; coolant contamination leading to overheating
