Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging and regeneration failures, especially on low-mileage urban driving; regen cycles can be aggressive and costly to clear
• EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve carbon build-up and failure, causing rough idle, loss of power, and DPF problems
• Diesel injector deposits and occasional injector failure on 3.0L engines; manifests as hard starting, rough running, and loss of efficiency
• Transmission control module (TCM) faults on the 8-speed automatic gearbox; symptoms include jerky shifts, limp-home mode, and occasional loss of gears
