Known issues

• Electrical faults affecting infotainment systems, door locks, and comfort features—occasional need for software updates or module replacement
• Timing chain rattle on cold start in early morning, usually benign but concerning to owners; can indicate oil quality issues
• Gearbox shudder or hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres in some DSG-equipped vehicles, resolved by software update
• Turbocharger boost pressure irregularities causing reduced power and check engine light, sometimes requiring turbo inspection or replacement
• EGR valve carbon fouling leading to rough idle and increased emissions, more common in high-mileage or poorly maintained examples
