Known issues

• Carbon deposit build-up on direct-injection valves, especially under 2,000 rpm with short trips—causes rough idle and reduced performance
• DSG automatic gearbox (7-speed wet) occasional judder on low-speed manoeuvres or in tight parking
• Infotainment system (MIB3) software glitches causing touchscreen freezing or Apple CarPlay/Android Auto disconnection
• Water ingress into door seals leading to interior panel corrosion or window regulator failure
• Turbocharger wastegate rattle under load (2023 early examples), typically resolves under warranty
• 12V auxiliary battery discharge if vehicle left idle for extended periods (drain from always-on modules)
