Known issues

• DSG 7-speed gearbox judder and hesitation on low-speed manoeuvres, particularly in stop-start traffic
• Electrical gremlins: infotainment system freezing, Bluetooth connectivity dropout, dashboard warning lights intermittent
• Carbon build-up on direct-injection petrol engines (1.2/1.5 TSI) causing rough idle and reduced performance around 80,000 km
• Timing chain rattle on cold start (1.5 TSI particularly) — usually cosmetic but can indicate premature wear
• Water ingress into door seals and trim, leading to interior dampness and electrical issues
• Turbo wastegate actuator failure (1.5 TSI), causing loss of boost and check engine light

• Responsive handling and composed ride quality on Irish roads; good visibility
