Known issues

• Direct injection petrol engine prone to carbon build-up on intake valves, especially on shorter journeys—manifests as rough idle or hesitation
• TSI turbo engine (1.0 TSI) can suffer premature turbo bearing wear; listen for whining under acceleration
• Electrical issues in early 2021 MY examples: infotainment freezing, AUX/USB port failures, dashboard warning lights appearing intermittently
• DSG automatic gearbox (if equipped) may exhibit jerky low-speed engagement or reluctance to shift smoothly when cold
• Water ingress into door seals causing interior moisture and window regulator corrosion
• Rear brake pad wear sensors occasionally faulty, triggering false warning lights
