Known issues

• TSI turbocharger carbon build-up on direct-injection petrol engines, particularly at higher mileages, leading to reduced power and rough idle
• DSG dual-clutch gearbox occasional judder during low-speed manoeuvres or parking (affects some 2023 units)
• Water pump failures reported on 1.5 TSI variants around 60,000–80,000 km, causing coolant leaks
• Infotainment system software glitches causing touchscreen freezing or navigation dropout
• Front suspension lower control arm wear accelerated by poor road surfaces, typical for Irish/UK roads
• DQ381 DSG mechatronic unit faults resulting in limp-home mode on some automatics

• Smooth, responsive turbocharged petrol engine with adequate power (190 or 280 PS depending on variant)
