• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging on cars with short urban journeys; regeneration may not complete, triggering warning light and potential limp-mode
• EGR valve carbon buildup causing rough idle and increased emissions at high mileage (80k+)
• Timing chain rattle on cold start in first 10–15 seconds; usually cosmetic but occasionally requires replacement after 120k miles
• Door lock actuator failure causing doors to lock/unlock intermittently or fail entirely
• Fuel injector carbon deposits leading to reduced economy and slight loss of power after 100k+ miles
• Manual gearbox synchromesh wear (grinds on 2nd–3rd gear) on high-mileage examples with hard driving history
