Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) clogging on low-mileage or short-journey driving patterns, requiring forced regeneration or replacement (€800–1,200)
• EGR valve carbon build-up causing rough idle and increased emissions readings; more common if AdBlue system is not maintained properly
• DSG 7-speed gearbox occasional judder or hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres, especially in stop-start traffic
• Infotainment system software glitches and occasional touchscreen lag on newer MY2026 units
• Fuel injector deposits on direct-injection diesel engines after 80,000+ km if poor-quality fuel used; symptoms include rough running and increased emissions
• Water ingress into rear light clusters in high-mileage examples; not a widespread fault but reported on older generations
