Known issues

• TSI 1.5L engine carbon buildup on direct injection valves leading to rough idle and reduced performance around 80,000–120,000 km
• Dual-clutch DSG gearbox occasional hesitation and shuddering during low-speed manoeuvres, especially in 2020–2021 model year
• Timing chain rattle on cold start in TSI engines, particularly 1.4L TSI, usually cosmetic but occasionally requires tensioner replacement
• Infotainment touchscreen freezing or lag, sometimes requiring hard reset
• Water ingress into door seals causing interior moisture and musty odours
• Sunroof drain blockages leading to water pooling in headliner area
