Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) regeneration issues leading to limp mode and costly cleaning; common on vehicles with short urban journeys
• EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve carbon build-up causing rough idle and check engine light, particularly on higher-mileage examples

• DSG 7-speed automatic transmission judder on low-speed manoeuvres or clutch shudder during take-off in some units
• Turbocharger wastegate rattle at cold start or under load; premature wear on some 2017 models
