Known issues

• 1.0 TSI carbon build-up on direct injection valves, particularly noticeable from 60,000+ miles as a slight loss of responsiveness
• DSG 7-speed gearbox occasional judder or hesitation during low-speed creep in traffic (affects a minority of cars)
• Ambient temperature sensor failures causing erratic heating/cooling control
• Door handle rattle on driver's door after 40,000+ miles due to loose internal mechanism
• Electrical gremlins with infotainment system occasionally requiring hard reset
• Timing chain tensioner noise (rattle on cold start) in some early 2019 models, though complete failure is rare
