Known issues

• Carbon buildup on direct-injection petrol engines (TSI variants) causing rough idling and reduced performance around 80,000–120,000 km
• DSG dual-clutch gearbox (if equipped) can exhibit judder on low-speed manoeuvres or hesitation during gear changes
• Timing chain tensioner wear on some 1.4 TSI engines, typically manifesting as rattling on cold start
• Water ingress into rear light clusters causing condensation and electrical faults
• Infotainment system (MIB) occasional freezing or slow responsiveness, particularly with touchscreen
• Door lock actuators failing prematurely, leaving drivers unable to lock or unlock doors electronically
