• DPF regeneration issues if predominantly short-journey driving; can lead to expensive regeneration failure and reduced engine power
• EGR valve carbon accumulation on 1.6 TDI engines under high mileage (80k+); causes rough idle and loss of power
• Diesel particulate filter clogging if AdBlue levels drop or injector spray pattern deteriorates
• Occasional turbocharger spool lag and boost lag reported on cold starts
• Minor interior trim rattle at door panels and dashboard, particularly over rough roads
