• DPF regeneration issues and blocked filters, especially on low-mileage/urban driving—expensive cleaning or replacement (€800–€1,500)
• EGR valve carbon build-up on diesel variants, can cause rough idle and increased emissions
• AdBlue heater element failure in cold climates, preventing engine start until warm
• DSG gearbox shudder on low-speed manoeuvres and creeping hesitation in stop-start traffic
• Infotainment system occasional freezing or touchscreen lag on 2023 model
• Diesel injector carbon deposits leading to loss of power, more common if AdBlue quality is poor
