Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging and regeneration issues, especially on low-mileage or short-journey driving; can cost €800–1,200 to clean or replace
• EGR valve carbon build-up leading to loss of power, rough idle, or limp-mode activation around 60,000–80,000 km
• Electrical gremlins including dash warning light flickering, infotainment system freezing or rebooting, and occasional battery drain
• Turbocharger carbon accumulation and occasional turbo lag or spool hesitation; premature wear if servicing is neglected
• Manual gearbox notchy or sticky shift, particularly in cold weather, sometimes resolved by gear-oil change
• AdBlue system sensor faults triggering warning lights; sensor replacement €200–400
