Known issues

• TCe 110 turbo engine carbon build-up on direct injection valves causing rough idle and hesitation, especially around 40,000 km
• EDC dual-clutch transmission judder and hesitation on low-speed manoeuvres; occasional gearbox warning lights requiring software updates
• Electrical gremlins including infotainment system freezing, touchscreen unresponsiveness, and occasional warning light faults
• Turbo wastegate rattle on cold start and under acceleration; wear reported in some units around 60,000 km
• Timing chain tensioner noise on early 2023 examples; Renault issued guidance but not a formal recall
• Door handle mechanism failure and central locking intermittent faults, particularly on driver's side

Good for

• Fuel efficiency for a petrol turbocharged city car; real-world economy 45–52 mpg on mixed driving
• Compact and nimble handling; excellent manoeuvrability in urban traffic and tight parking
• Modern infotainment with smartphone integration and decent connectivity for the class
• Low road tax (€170 p.a. for most variants); cheap insurance due to small engine and low theft appeal
