Known issues

• 1.0 TCe turbo petrol: premature carbon build-up on direct injection valves causing rough idle and hesitation, especially with short trips
• EDC 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox: shuddering and clunking on low-speed manoeuvres and reversing, particularly in early 2022 units
• Electrical gremlins: infotainment system freezing, reversing camera feed dropout, and door lock module failures reported sporadically
• Engine knock sensor faults and P0304 misfire codes, typically resolved with software updates and fuel quality management
• Timing chain tensioner noise on cold starts (1.0 TCe models), though rarely causing catastrophic failure if caught early
• Brake squeal and uneven pad wear on the front discs within first 50,000 km

Good for

• Fuel efficiency: realworld 4.5–5.2 L/100 km (1.0 TCe) is competitive for a turbopetrol in urban and mixed driving
• City car practicality: tight turning circle, excellent visibility, and manageability in tight spaces
• Modern infotainment: 7-inch or 8-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration (when it works)
• Affordable consumables: tyre and brake parts are reasonably priced; no DPF or AdBlue complications
