Known issues

• 1.0L TCe turbo engine carbon buildup on intake valves leading to rough idle and reduced performance (direct injection engines are prone to this)
• EDC automatic gearbox shuddering or hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres, particularly 2017–2019 models
• Turbocharger bearing wear causing excessive boost lag or oil leaks, especially higher-mileage examples
• Electrical faults including dashboard warning light glitches and infotainment system freezing or reboots
• Clutch wear on manual variants earlier than expected, particularly in city driving
• Door lock actuators failing, causing manual or electronic lock/unlock issues

Good for

• Fuel economy and low CO₂ emissions (especially 1.0L TCe manual variants achieving 45–50 mpg real-world)
• Compact, easy-to-park city car with good visibility and responsive steering
