Known issues

• TCe turbo petrol engine carbon build-up on direct injection at higher mileages (80k+)
• EDC dual-clutch gearbox judder and hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres, particularly on 1.2 TCe models
• Electrical gremlins: infotainment system freezing, dashboard warning lights intermittently illuminating
• Timing chain rattle on cold start (rare but reported on TCe 100 engine variant)
• Moisture ingress into door seals causing interior water pooling after heavy rain
• Turbocharger wastegate sticking under load, reducing performance

Good for

• Compact, manoeuvrable design ideal for urban driving and tight parking
• Spacious interior and good boot capacity for the class
• Affordable running costs with modest insurance groups
• Acceptable fuel economy (45–50 mpg real-world on 1.2 TCe 100 petrol)
