Known issues

• Electrical faults causing dashboard warning light clusters to illuminate intermittently (common in 2017–2019 models)
• Direct injection petrol engines prone to carbon build-up on intake valves, causing rough idle and hesitation at lower mileages (80k–120k miles typical)
• Timing chain tensioner wear and rattling on cold starts, particularly in 1.2L PureTech engines
• Air conditioning compressor failure and refrigerant leaks around 80k–100k miles
• Clutch wear on manual transmissions before 100k miles, especially in city driving
• Water ingress into door seals and window regulators causing interior trim corrosion and electrolyte seepage

Good for

• Compact dimensions and light steering make it excellent for urban parking and city commuting
• Modern touchscreen infotainment system (if equipped) is intuitive and responsive
• Good fuel economy (50–55 MPG real-world on petrol) and low CO₂ emissions for tax purposes
• Spacious cabin for its segment with decent boot space (285 litres)
