Known issues

• 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox: rough gear selection at low speeds, occasional loss of Drive, delay in engaging reverse—particularly in cold weather
• PureTech petrol engines (1.2 turbo): carbon build-up on intake valves causing rough idle, hesitation, and increased emissions after 80,000+ km; direct injection prone to fouling
• Electrical gremlins: central locking failures, windows dropping intermittently, dashboard warning light flicker with no fault code
• Infotainment system: touchscreen freezing, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity drops, occasional reboot loops
• Turbocharger wastegate actuator carbon deposits on high-mileage examples, reducing boost response
• Coolant leaks from housing gaskets on the 1.2 PureTech engine; thermostat housing seal failure common

Good for

• Reasonable fuel economy (5.5–6.2 L/100 km real-world) from the 1.2 turbo petrol in normal driving
• Nimble urban handling and comfortable suspension for its class
• Good infotainment display (10-inch touchscreen on higher trims) when functioning
• Strong warranty cover (3 years / 60,000 km standard; 5 year corrosion warranty)
