Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) clogging, particularly on low-mileage or short-journey driving patterns; often requires forced regeneration or replacement at €800–1,200
• EGR valve carbon buildup causing rough idle and increased emissions; cleaning or replacement costs €400–700
• Timing chain tensioner noise on cold starts; premature wear reported on some units, eventual replacement €600–900
