Known issues

• Direct injection petrol engine prone to carbon buildup on intake valves, leading to rough idle and hesitation around 80,000–120,000 km
• Electrical gremlins including intermittent dashboard warning lights and infotainment system freezing or rebooting
• Turbocharger actuator wear causing loss of boost pressure and limp-mode activation in higher-mileage examples
• Timing chain rattle on cold start in early production units, particularly below 5°C
• Rear door latch mechanism failure, resulting in doors not opening or closing properly
• Manual gearbox (if equipped) notchy shift quality and occasional gear selection resistance

• Straightforward engine design with no hybrid or DSG complexity, making repairs generally simple
