Known issues

• Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve deposits and failure causing rough idle and reduced performance
• Turbocharger bearing wear and occasional turbo seal leaks, especially under hard driving or poor maintenance
• Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system and AdBlue injector faults leading to limp mode and check engine lights
• Timing chain tensioner issues in rare cases, though the OM651 diesel is generally robust
• Fuel injector deposits and carbon build-up on direct injection, causing cold-start hesitation
