Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) regeneration issues causing warning lights and limp mode; forced regeneration cycles on short journeys lead to soot buildup
• EGR valve sticking or failing, causing rough idling, loss of power, and increased emissions warnings
• Timing chain rattle on cold start, particularly when oil intervals stretched; premature wear in some units
• Electrical gremlins including sporadic infotainment system crashes and door locking mechanism failures
• Fuel injector carbon buildup causing hesitation and rough running, especially with lower-quality diesel
• Dual-clutch transmission (DCT) shuddering on low-speed manoeuvres and sluggish gear changes in cold weather
