Known issues

• DPF clogging and regeneration problems, especially on low-mileage or short-journey driving patterns, leading to limp-mode and expensive cleaning/replacement (€800–€1,500)
• Electrical faults including faulty battery sensors, alternator failures, and interior lighting/climate control malfunctions
• Turbocharger lag and occasional boost pressure sensor faults causing reduced power and check-engine lights
• EGR valve deposits and carbon buildup on intake valves, particularly on CDI engines, causing rough idle and increased emissions
• Gearbox shudder and hesitancy on the 7-speed DCT at low speeds and during parking manoeuvres
• Fuel injector deposits and pre-ignition knock on poor-quality diesel, exacerbated by direct injection
