Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) regeneration problems leading to reduced power and limp-home mode; may require forced regen or replacement
• Turbocharger bearing wear and occasional turbo actuator electronic faults, especially around 80,000–100,000 km
• EGR valve carbon build-up and occasional malfunction causing rough idle and warning lights
• Electrical faults in touchscreen infotainment system, door module electronics, and power steering sensor intermittency
• Engine oil dilution from unburnt fuel, particularly on vehicles with short trips; premature oil degradation in cooler months
• Timing chain rattle on cold start (rare but documented) and occasional chain tensioner valve sticking
