Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) clogging and forced regeneration issues, particularly if driven predominantly on short urban journeys
• Diesel injector carbon build-up and occasional injector failure, especially on higher-mileage examples
• Turbocharger bearing wear and oil-related turbo degradation if oil changes are delayed
• Rear differential carrier corrosion and potential leakage (affects both petrol and diesel but more common on early models)
• Electrical gremlins including infotainment system lag, touchscreen unresponsiveness, and occasional complete infotainment resets
• Transmission shudder or hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres (both manual and automatic variants reported)

• Diesel efficiency on motorway driving; real-world combined consumption typically 40–50 mpg depending on driving style
• Spacious practical interior and good boot capacity for a luxury compact SUV
• Premium interior materials and relatively intuitive controls despite infotainment software issues
• Competent all-wheel drive system and balanced handling for a vehicle in this class
