Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) regeneration issues leading to excessive soot buildup and warning lights; some owners report DPF cleaning or replacement needed before 80,000 km
• Electrical gremlins including infotainment system freezing, touchscreen unresponsiveness, and occasional loss of display function
• Diesel injector carbon fouling and rough idle, particularly on early 2.0L Ingenium units; injector cleaning or replacement can be costly
• Panoramic roof seal deterioration causing water ingress into cabin and boot area
• EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve sticking on 2018–2019 models, resulting in reduced power and limp-home mode
• Transmission shuddering or hesitation during low-speed manoeuvres, particularly on wet surfaces (Ingenium + 9-speed auto combo)

• Smooth, refined 2.0L diesel engine with good low-end torque and acceptable fuel economy (45–52 mpg combined in real-world conditions)
• Spacious interior, practical boot space, and good visibility for an SUV
• Comfortable ride quality and well-damped suspension suitable for long motorway runs
• Premium interior materials and upmarket ambiance despite being an entry-level Jaguar
