Known issues

• Battery capacity loss over time (typically 5–10% degradation after 5–8 years), reducing electric-only range and forcing more engine operation
• 12V auxiliary battery discharge issues if vehicle left unplugged for extended periods; can prevent charging system activation
• Charging port connector corrosion in damp climates (Ireland); intermittent charging failure if not kept clean and dry
• Brake fluid moisture accumulation due to infrequent mechanical brake use in hybrid mode; recommend fluid change every 2 years
• AC inverter/converter faults causing loss of electric drive; expensive repair (€1,500–€2,500) outside warranty
