Known issues

• Occasional condensation in headlight units on damp Irish roads; cleaning required but cosmetic
• Early CVT transmission shudder at very low speeds during initial engagement (rare, usually firmware updates resolve)
• Brake pad wear is accelerated due to regenerative braking not fully engaging in all conditions
• 12V auxiliary battery may discharge if parked for extended periods without the main hybrid battery maintaining charge
• Infotainment touchscreen can be slow to respond in cold weather

Good for

• City and suburban driving with excellent fuel economy (4.5-5.2 L/100km real-world in mixed urban use)
• Tight parking and urban manoeuvres thanks to tight turning circle and compact dimensions
• Low taxation and excellent residual value among Japanese superminis
• Reliability and minimal dealer visits required in first 5 years of ownership
