Known issues

• DPF regeneration problems and occasional blockages, especially on vehicles with low annual mileage or frequent short journeys
• Fuel injector carbon build-up and sticking, leading to rough idle and increased fuel consumption
• EGR valve deposits causing reduced performance and check engine warnings
• Timing chain rattle on cold starts (rare but documented in some examples)
• Water ingress into rear tailgate area, causing electrical gremlins and corrosion
• Gearbox judder on low-speed manoeuvres (some reports, though less common than DSG issues)
