Known issues

• 1.0L EcoBoost carbon buildup on direct-injection valves causing rough idle and hesitation—requires professional cleaning around 60,000–80,000 miles
• Transmission shudder or hesitation on low-speed manoeuvres (both manual and automatic gearboxes reported)
• Panoramic sunroof rattling and wind noise due to poor seal quality in early production examples
• Infotainment/SYNC 3 touchscreen lag, occasional freezing or loss of connectivity
• Door handle and electric window motor failures, particularly on driver's side
• Coolant leaks from thermostat housing connections (minor but requires early attention)
