Known issues

• DPF regeneration failures and clogging, particularly on short urban journeys; often leads to limp mode and expensive cleaning or replacement (€800–€1500)
• Turbocharger shaft wear and bearing failure, especially if oil changes are neglected; symptoms include loss of power and oil consumption
• EGR valve carbon fouling causing rough idle, increased emissions, and limp mode activation
• Fuel injector coking on direct-injection engines, resulting in cold-start difficulty and reduced fuel economy
• Transmission judder and hesitation during low-speed urban driving (particularly with automatic variants)
• Electrical gremlins: dashboard warning lights, infotainment glitches, and battery drain issues
