Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging and regeneration failures, particularly on short urban journeys; premature clogging around 40,000–60,000 miles
• Engine oil dilution with fuel on the 1.5 TDCi, especially in stop-start driving; can necessitate more frequent oil changes and engine inspection
• Electrical faults including faulty door contact switches, window regulators failure, and dashboard lighting issues
• Turbocharger bearing wear and occasional boost pressure sensor failures leading to reduced power or limp-home mode
• EGR valve carbon buildup causing rough idle and increased emissions
• Transmission judder and hesitation on some examples with the manual or automatic gearbox, particularly when cold
