Known issues

• DPF (diesel particulate filter) clogging and regeneration failures, leading to limp mode and expensive cleaning/replacement (£400–£800)
• PowerShift automatic gearbox juddering, hesitation, and jerking on low-speed manoeuvres; some units develop severe transmission failure requiring replacement
• 1.5 TDCi fuel injector issues and internal diesel engine carbon build-up, causing rough idle and starting difficulties
• EGR valve failure and carbon accumulation in intake valves, resulting in loss of power and MIL light
• Electrical gremlins: interior light failures, dashboard illumination faults, and intermittent warning lights
• Timing belt tensioner wear; belt replacement due at 160,000 km (approximately 100,000 miles)
