Known issues

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) clogging and regeneration failures, leading to limp mode and expensive cleaning/replacement (€800–€1,200)
• EGR valve carbon build-up causing rough idle, power loss, and fault codes — common on higher-mileage examples
• Electrical faults: dashboard warning lights, interior lighting gremlins, and battery drain issues
• Timing chain rattle on cold start, particularly if oil changes have been neglected
• Fuel injector coking and poor cold-start performance, especially if low-quality diesel used
• Dual-mass flywheel wear causing clutch shudder and vibration under load

Good for

• Spacious interior and flexible seating for families or small businesses
• Decent fuel economy (45–50 mpg real-world) for a 7-seat MPV when DPF is functioning
• Proven 1.5 TDCi engine — parts availability is excellent and servicing widely available
• Good towing capacity (1,200 kg braked) and practical load bay
