Known issues

• Engine oil sludging and premature wear if service intervals stretched; use correct viscosity (5W-30) religiously
• Timing chain tensioner noise on cold start, especially in higher-mileage examples; can lead to chain rattle
• Automatic gearbox (JF015E CVT where fitted) shudder and hesitation during acceleration; software calibration issues
• Door panel gaps and trim rattles; interior plastics brittle in sunlight after 5+ years
• Clutch wear from poor bite point feel on manual models; replacements needed around 80,000–100,000 km
• Alternator bearing failure common; replacement ~€150–200 parts + labour

• Simple, proven 1.2L and 1.5L engines with few electronic complexities
