Known issues

• 12V auxiliary battery drain and occasional battery management system faults reported on early iX models
• Infotainment system software glitches, including occasional freezing or loss of connectivity features
• Charging port corrosion or water ingress in damp climates (Europe-specific issue emerging)
• Brake dust accumulation on rotors despite regenerative braking; occasional brake pad wear sensor faults
• Panoramic sunroof seal leaks reported in isolated cases, leading to interior water ingress
• Range loss of 5-8% observed over first 2-3 years of ownership (minor, within normal degradation)

• Responsive acceleration, smooth ride quality, and excellent infotainment integration (when functioning)
• Very low maintenance requirements — no oil changes, spark plugs, or timing belts
• Practical SUV space with efficient use of battery floor design for interior volume
